I'm willing to bet that you have never heard of that medical condition before, me too, until recently, patients coming to my clinic complaining of lower rib pain. Look it up, seriously it is a real problem. Here at my clinic, we don't like assumptions and follow the protocol of the patient's medical history, onset of pain, examination, etc. And a follow-up in a few days after treatment. A quick fix, an assumption on the part of some patients, isn't always a reality.
With that in mind, each patient is unique, and treated as such, as musculoskeletal pain is made up of different layers, and each layer has to be sorted out. Thus, the situation with Sliding Rib Syndrome, after being diagnosed correctly, finding the appropriate treatment, which we did, and patients' started to improve.
